The Motel is adjacent to the beautiful Dunedin Botanic Gardens and just a 5 minute walk from the University of Otago and only 10 minutes to the Forsyth Barr Stadium.

Our 30 modern units, ranging from suites up to a three-bedroom apartment, are warm and welcoming for families
and sporting/friend groups. Most units have heat pumps and all have free, unlimited fast Wi-Fi and Sky TV.

The hosts and staff are the kindest people you can meet, very generous people. The Commodore is an easy flat walk into the city, well located. The room size is very generous, the room  had two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen area, and good size bathroom, much better than the shoe box rooms you get in the centre of town. Next time in Dunedin, we'll be staying at the Commodore.

Having the botanic gardens right next door was a real treat to walk through in the mornings. And watching the wood pigeons right outside our window. I can't recommend this place highly enough!!!

Stayed there a second time. Rooms is clean and big they put the heater on for me before I arrived. You will not make a mistake to choose this motel. Recommend!

I booked a single studio room which was very clean and well appointed, and perfectly met my needs. I really appreciated being on the second floor facing towards the Botanic Gardens and away from the road - it was lovely to awake to the sound of bird song each morning. This motel is also ideally located just down the road from the University of Otago and walking distance to town.
